Hello all: 

A couple of items for all of the members.     Those of you may have known Jim Payne, was a long term member of the club, passed away 01-29-25.  He was 93 years young!    Say a prayer for his family.  We will honor and do the bell toll for him at the next membership meeting.

February 15 will be the quarterly Pool Tournament at the club.   It will start at 2pm.  10.00 entry fee and Potluck.  Come out and have some fun and show Joe Coddington he isn’t a top dawg in the game of Pool!   Come out and have some fun.!

February 16 is Rio Grande Jazz Sunday.  Starts at 2pm to 430pm here at the club.    Come out and listen to some talented musicians as they show off their stuff.

February 22 is the El Ferrat party for the Damen Ball and dance.  Jim Brauer’s band will be performing!  Further details about the door fee, start time, dinner plate and menu will be forthcoming very soon.  Put it on your calendars now.   We would love to get a head count for this if we can.

March 1 we are discussing a possible full Mardi Gras event with El Ferrat.   More info to follow. 

The quarterly GAC membership meeting will be on Sunday, March 30, 2025 at 2pm.   Please plan on attending.

Possibly towards the mid or end of March or mid April, I have had requests that we do a 70’s dance party blow out.   Anyone that might like to participate in the planning and decorating of the hall let me know.   Donna and her sister(s) have volunteered to head this up!!   Thank you Donna and Brenda.

For those that may be interested,  this spring we would like to plan a camping weekend up in the Jemez for any that may want to attend.  If you have an RV, trailer, tent,   we would like to have a nice weekend out in the springtime air and trees.   More info on this to follow

Hope all are staying warm, and looking forward to spring. 

I have also been asked to let everyone know, Kari wants to plan a BIG HALLOWEEN PARTY!   So we have reserved Saturday November 1st.    Do you have a costume yet ?   Kari has some great ideas for this.
