Hello all: 

Update of a couple items…. 

Jim Payne funeral information shows it will take place on 02/12/2025 at Daniel’s Funeral home, 3113 Carlisle NE at 10am.  This would be on Carlisle just north of Candelaria Blvd NE. 

 The burial will be in Santa Fe at the Veteran’s cemetery sometime in March.  

Pool Tournament: 

We needed to move the date to Feb 22nd at 2pm – 4:00pm +/_.    There is a 10.00 joining fee.   Will be doing an early potluck for those that would like to bring something.  Let myself or Miguel, know if you are planning on attending.

The El Ferrat will be having the Masken Ball Saturday, Feb 22, 2025.  We will start the meal in the ballroom at 5pm and Jim Brauer will be providing music for us starting at 6pm – 9pm.    The door fee will be $5.00 a person.   We are going to set the door fee lower in hopes to get more turn out for this great event.

Peter Blemel will be rattling the pots and pans in the Kitchen,,, 

The menu will be

Gasthof Roast Pork  (German country inn style pork roast)

Spaetzel

Vegetable

Roll

Dessert

Cost for the meal will be $15.

Please let one of us know if you are attending so that we can plan how much food to prepare.  

A reminder also that the general membership meeting is scheduled for Sunday,  March 30^th at 2pm.  

We are still in the planning stages for the 70’s dance party for some time in March or April.   More information to follow on this.  

Would there be any interest in the membership for a Easter Sunday afternoon meal at the club?   Open to ideas, and if anyone would like to plan it ?
